About Spetses and Transporation
Spetses with its distinctive architecture, cobble streets, and fragrant gardens filled to the brim with jasmine and bougainvillea offers an enjoyable summer experience. The island is located 3 hours away from Athens by high-speed ferry from Piraeus Port or by car to the city of Kosta and sea taxi to take you across to Spetses. From the Kosta port, you can take the local ferry to take you across to Spetses harbor every 15 minutes, or a water taxi to take you directly to Anargyrios, in 5 minutes.

Getting to the Anargyrios & Korgialenios Foundation
“Three Wheelers” cars are found on the jetty waiting for boat arrivals. Although primarily are for luggage carrying, most can usually take one person in the front with them. They hand out their own business cards and can be pre-booked for the return trip

- BUS If you are arriving in Athens by plane , you can catch the X96 bus leaving from the airport every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day for the port of Piraeus. It takes about 1 hour to reach Piraeus and will drop you off at the bus station in the port, about 500m from Gate E9 where the flying dolphins for Spetses depart.
- RAILWAY During the day you can also take the suburban railway leaving from the Athens Airport direct to the port of Piraeus. This takes 1hour 40 minutes and the station is about 700m from Gate E9 where the flying dolphins for Spetses depart.
* TAXI You can also hire a taxi to drive you to Pireaus Port, GATE E9.
* YACHT You can also hire a yacht to sail you to Anargyrios in Spetses.

Getting from Athens to Spetses by Your Own Car
- With your own car or a rented one, take the national road, cross the Isthmus of Corinth and take the exit for Ancient Epidavros. Drive to Kranidi, Porto Heli and Kosta. The drive takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. From the Kosta port, you can take the local ferry to take you across to Spetses every 15 minutes, or a water taxi to take you directly to Anargyrios, in 5 minutes.
